A big thank you to Carbyne Mechanical at Mackay for saving our holiday to Cape York. The first night of our journey my a Nissan Patrol had a clutch failure and after inquiring to numerous mechanical repairers I was told it would take 7 to 10 days. I was told to contact Carbyne Mechanical who were able to source the parts as soon as vehicle was delivered to there workshop in Mackay.
We arrived a couple of hours later and they commenced work immediately and 21/2 days later we were back on the road. They also loaned us there workshop Ute to tow our van to Caravan Park. All the staff were courteous and professional and the repair cost were reasonable in my opinion and would recommend their business to anyone especially travelers in trouble.
